Why waste a day eating indoors when eat al fresco on the wharf overlooking the Harbour Bridge, watch boats pass by and check out exy apartments. On a glorious sunny day half of my family and I went out for lunch at Ripples Sydney Wharf (56 Pirrama Road Pyrmont) while the other half of my family did their own thang… they missed out big time. Usually I prefer to be seated inside and eat stress-free avoiding the wind, rain, heat and passerby’s but Ripples is in the most beautiful space. (They also have awnings and shelter to keep you dry and warm when needed ๐ )
I think this is my new favourite restaurant to eat outdoors for lunch, I’ve ALWAYS found the service perfect – they’re professional, lovely, spot-on and very attentive. What’s even better is their portions – they’re very generous with their servings which makes it even more affordable ๐ You’ll see what I mean about portions below – my growing adolescent brother could not finish his Fish & Chips main and my entree would have been enough to fill me up if it wasn’t so tasty.
